S'mores Waffles

Take a campfire classic, but make it breakfast with these s'mores waffles

Ingredients
  

  • cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cup mini marshmallows
  • ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Start by preheating your waffle maker to medium high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Slowly pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients bowl. Whisk until combined.
  5. Heat up a waffle iron, spray with cooking spray, and ladle in about ¾ of batter. Cook for about 5 minutes each, or until golden brown.
  6. When the waffle is done, cut it in half. On one half, add a few tbsp of chocolate chips, and marshmallows, and place the other half on top.
  7. Place the waffle back in the waffle iron for 1-2 minutes, or until the chocolate and marshmallows melt.
  8. Drizzle the waffle with chocolate syrup and serve immediately.
