Roasted Parmesan Broccoli

There is nothing like salty, crispy oven roasted broccoli to round out a delicious dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1½-2 lb fresh broccoli heads cut into even sized florets
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tbsp lemon zest
  • tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°
  • On a large sheet pan, spread broccoli florets into an even layer
  • Drizzle with olive oil, lemon zest, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat evenly and spread back into an even layer.
  • Bake for 17-20 minutes, or until fork tender and crispy on the edges, tossing halfway through.
  • Sprinkle with additional parmesan and serve immediately.
