Greek Burgers
Take all of the tastes of a classic gyro and jam pack it between two buns for a trip to Greece!

Burger
- 1 lb ground turkey, chicken, or lamb
- ¼ cup crumbled feta
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tsp fresh chopped dill
- salt and pepper
Tomato Salad
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, quartered
- ⅓ cup red onion thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- salt and pepper
Tzatziki
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- juice of ½ lemon
- ⅓ cup grated cucumber
Combine all burger ingredients and place on the grill or in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Cook about 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for the tomato salad.
In a separate bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the tzatziki.
Toast the pita and slice in half, or these Flatout Fold-its. Place one patty, ¼ cup of tomato salad, and 1-2 tablespoons of tzatziki on each pita round and serve immediately.
