Ingredients
1loaffrench bread
½cupsalted buttersoftened (1 stick)
3clovesgarlicminced
3tbspparsleyfinely minced
½cupjarred marinara
16ozfresh mozzarella pearls or balls (torn)
Optional Pizza Toppings
4ozpepperoni
⅓cupcooked italian sausagesliced or crumbled
¼cupgreen bell peppersliced thin or diced
¼cupred onionthinly sliced
¼cupsliced mushrooms
2tbspsliced olives
¼cupsliced chicken
2tbspcooked bacon crumbled
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°
In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, garlic, and parsley. Split the french bread in half lengthwise and spread both sides with softened butter mixture. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 5 minutes or until the butter is melted and the edges of the bread crispy slightly
Remove from oven and spread evenly with marinara and ¾ of the cheese (if using other toppings, if making just cheese pizza, player on all cheese). Layer on any other toppings of your choosing and top with remaining cheese.
Place back in the oven for another 7-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly browning.
Slice and serve immediately.
